The stock K40 is a capable machine hindered by a terrible controller and unsafe wiring.
The Plan
- Move HV and controller to seperate enclosure
- Increase laser bed size
- Fit Cohesion3D controller
- Upgrade mirrors and C02 lens
- Implement laser focus (manual)
- Add air assist
- Configure with Lightburn
- Improve exhaust
- Design laser controller with automatic flow cutoff
